Several Community Colleges in Virginia are now offering classes in Viticulture and Enology. The most extensive program is at PVCC, please see the post about their schedule. Other schools that have classes scheduled for this fall include:

Patrick Henry Community College in Martinsville, VA. is offering Intro to Viticulture and a class called Topics In . View the schedule here. For more information contact John Ayers at 276.656.0335 or jayers@ph.vccs.edu.
Rappahannock Community College is offering Intro to Viticulture and Viticulture I at their Warsaw, VA campus. The courses will be instructed by Ray Petrie of Belle Mount Vineyards. Courses are dependent on meeting enrollment requirements so if you are interested please contact whichever school is closest to you. The Virginia Community College network is a fantastic resource for promoting Viticulture and Enology education to our growing industry and is committed to increasing course offerings where there is interest.
