Governor’s Cup Case Educational Forum

We are pleased to invite you to attend the first of the Virginia Wineries Association’s Governor’s Cup Case educational series, supported by the Virginia Wine Board and Virginia Vineyards Association. As part of the newly revamped Governor’s Cup competition, educational forums that highlight the viticulture and winemaking practices of the top 12 scoring wines from the 2012 Governor’s Cup competition are being presented. Each seminar will be a tasting and discussion of the Governor’s Cup Case wines. The forums will last about 2 ½ hours each. There will be 10 minutes spent focusing on each wine: 7 minutes for tasting and presenting the wine and 3 minutes for Q&A. The presentations will be made by Jay Youmans, Master of Wine, with the support of the winemakers and vineyards.
